Health, Safety and Hygiene Standards
At House of Beauty, keeping you safe during your visit is our top priority. With that in mind, we would like to share our hygiene commitments that we follow every day.
Read our latest COVID-19 Updates and you can find out more about our Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Prevention and Control Policy.
Our rigorous sanitation and cleaning measures have always included:
All tools are soaked in disinfectant or disposed of and items of equipment are cleaned before and after every treatment.
Treatment beds are sanitised with disinfectant wipes after each treatment and fresh bed paper is pulled for each Client.
Therapists wash their hands before and after every treatment.
All chairs, floors and other surfaces are wiped and sanitised regularly with disinfectant.
Plus, we have added more health & safety commitments to further protect our Clients:
Safety Training and Certification
All therapists have completed ‘COVID-19 Infection Prevention and Control’ Certification issued by the Guild of Beauty Therapists.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Clients are advised to wear their own face masks, otherwise these will be provided by House of Beauty. Clients are also advised to wash their hands on arrival, or use the sanitising gel provided.
Therapists wear PPE including gloves, face shields for treatments where blood or fluids are involved, and disposable surgical masks for all other treatments.
After every treatment, additional deep-cleaning of all high-frequency touchpoints is done including all equipment and workstation surfaces with waste properly disposed of.
Elimination of Non-Essentials
All display products and non-essential items have been eliminated including leaflets, magazines and price lists. Digital versions of all materials are available instead.
Social distancing applies. The total number of Clients within the reception area is limited to a maximum of 2 at any time.
The Temperature of all Clients is checked upon arrival. Treatment is refused if a fever is detected. The temperature of therapists is checked at the start of each shift.
